Multi-HR Day for Almanzar as BC Overpower Drummers, 5-4
|
Angeddy Almanzar made an impact in the 5-4 Houston win over Tortolita. Almanzar, who was drafted in the two round of the 2032 draft, went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Ken Peterson finished to wrap up his 9th save. Houston is now 25-29, Tortolita 27-27.
Houston took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Alfredo Mojica hit a run-scoring single to make it 5-4, BC.
"We'll grab a cold one tonight and go after another win tomorrow," Mojica said.
