It was a fun time at Houston Park, where the Tortolita Drummers and Houston BC tangled.

Benefiting from Angeddy Almanzar's productive game, the Houston BC downed the Tortolita Drummers, 8-6. Almanzar hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the BC. Steve Costlow was the winner. Over 8 innings, he allowed 6 runs on 11 hits, with 1 walk and 6 strikeouts. Ken Peterson earned the save for Houston, his 8th of the year.

The BC got a big at-bat from first baseman Alba Hidalgo de Jesus. For the game, de Jesus was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 8th double of the season gave Houston a 7-6 lead.
