Red Pandas Lose Again, 7-3, to Buzz
|
Salt Lake City starter Tony Smehrik had a strong outing against the Sioux Falls Red Pandas at Spirits Stadium. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 7-3 win. Andrew Holloway nailed down his 3rd save. Sioux Falls, at 11-19, has lost 6 straight.
Cooper Lowe went 1 for 4 with a double for Salt Lake City. In the bottom of the sixth, with the teams deadlocked, 0-0, Lowe delivered for the Buzz. His run-scoring ground out put Salt Lake City on top, 1-0.
"I still think this team has room for improvement," Lowe told the Salt Lake City Bulletin.
