BC Topple Braves with Late Rally

The exploits of third baseman Alfredo Mojica, who was drafted in the two round of the 2021 draft, helped the Houston BC defeat the Gryfindor Braves, 3-2. Mojica was 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Pete Venegas got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 4.2 innings. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the BC.
Mojica had a game-changing single in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-0 fastball from Brian Peeks, he banged a run-scoring single to left, giving the BC a 3-2 lead. It was the 16th hit of the year for Mojica.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Houston manager Juan Casas.
