|
Tortolita Drummers starter Andy Fallon turned in an exceptional performance against the Augusta Timber Hawks at Timber Hawks Ballpark, resulting in a Tortolita win, 6-2. The win was credited to Pedro Figueroa in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Tate Beason took the loss. Tortolita is now 9-8.
Rich Flannery's hit in the top of the tenth was a game-changer. With no one out, he rapped a fastball from Tate Beason for a run-scoring single. It put Tortolita in front, 3-2.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Flannery.
