Cattlemen Walk Off with Win

The Ft. Worth Cattlemen and Greenville 84s played an exciting game at The Cattle Pen.
Greenville got a terrific performance from pitcher Neil Franson, but it wasn't enough to beat the Ft. Worth Cattlemen. Ft. Worth won the The Cattle Pen contest, 4-3. Franson was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 6 innings of 5-hit ball. The Cattlemen now have a record of 16-19 with the win over Greenville.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Ft. Worth second baseman Robby Day, facing Mau Delgado, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Cattlemen the 4-3 win.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Day said after the game.
