Kingston Township left-hander Pete Rhue helped his team edge Quebec City by the score of 3-2. Rhue kept the opposing lineup in check. Kingston Township reliever John Riggleman was credited with the win, to go to 1-0. Matt Digby took the loss for Quebec City. Kingston Township goes to 3-0 with the win.

Elia Amberezzio was the walk-off hero for Kingston Township. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Knights shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Rhue told a Kingston Township Times reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
