Palaie Gaoteote Named Premier 3R Player Monday, September 26th, 2033 He may have less experience than most of his M3L Rookie peers, but that didn't slow Palaie Gaoteote down at all in 2033. At the age of 21, the Quebec left fielder has been named the winner of the M3L Rookie Most Valuable Player Award. He had a .372 batting average and a .457 on-base percentage this year. In 96 games he piled up 145 hits, 25 doubles, 2 triples, 52 home runs, 133 RBIs and 98 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year." Brendon Lewis of the Santa Fe Revolvers finished second in voting, while Pancho González of the Amarillo Submarinos finished third. |
