Rowbery Slaps 5 Hits Tuesday, September 6th, 2033 The Amarillo Submarinos stopped the Quebec Rookies by a score of 11-4 at Ballpark of Jensen Beach today, with the lion's share of the credit going to right fielder Riley Rowbery. The 18-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Rowbery said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Rowbery did just that in his 6 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Rookies. "Not much that I can say," offered Quebec manager Tony Romero. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Riley Rowbery singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI double in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 10th.
