Zhu Named Top 3R Hurler Thursday, September 1st, 2033 Ding-bong Zhu of Hudsonville had an award-winning August as he took home the M3L Rookie Pitcher of the Month award. "He told me once people used to make fun of the way he pitches," Zhu's pitching coach told reporters. "There wasn't anybody laughing in August except for Ding-bong." Zhu was all business when he took the mound though, collecting a 4-0 record in 0 starts. He struck out 44 batters in 27.1 innings and kept opponents to a .182 batting average. To date this season Zhu sports a 8-2 mark with a 2.69 ERA in 0 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .192 batting average and has 143 strikeouts in 97 innings. |
