He may have less experience than most of his USSL Rookie peers, but that didn't slow Felipe Dávila down at all in 2033.

At the age of 19, the Germantown first baseman has been named the winner of the USSL Rookie Most Valuable Player Award.

He had a .325 batting average and a .378 on-base percentage this year. In 95 games he piled up 124 hits, 13 doubles, 3 triples, 27 home runs, 78 RBIs and 64 runs scored.

"I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year."

Meester Gobbles-Rooster of the Germantown Uruguayans finished second in voting, while Tae-wan Park of the Gibtown Elephants finished third.
