Union City Ace Wins SR Pitcher of the Year Award Friday, September 23rd, 2033 The 2033 USSL Rookie Pitcher of the Year Award has gone to Union City Hillers ace Sergio Gómez after a stellar 11-7 season. In 21 starts he piled up 152.2 innings, 138 strikeouts, 22 walks and a 2.00 ERA. Gómez held opposing hitters to a .203 batting average. Wilson Valenzuela of the Newcastle Mermen finished second in voting, while César Gutiérrez of the Union City Hillers finished third. |
