Neal Rips Newcastle for 5 Hits Thursday, September 1st, 2033 Uruguayans center fielder Joshua Neal had his way with Newcastle pitching today at Newcastle Stadium and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Mermen ruined his great day by toppling the Uruguayans, 8-6. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Newcastle credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Neal did today," Mermen skipper Harris Bailey said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Joshua Neal doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
