Union City Starter Selected Best Pitcher Thursday, September 1st, 2033 It was a monstrous August for the USSL Rookie Pitcher of the Month award winner, Sergio Gómez of the Union City Hillers. He put up some mighty scary numbers. Gómez recorded 4 wins and no losses in 5 starts. Throwing a total of 32.1 innings, he yielded 22 hits, mowed down 29 on strikes, gave up 4 walks and put up a solid ERA of 1.11 in a stellar month on the mound. This season Gómez has compiled a 10-7 mark, 2.12 ERA and made 20 starts. |
