Barger Picks Up Best SR Batter Honors for August Thursday, September 1st, 2033 Ken Barger made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the USSL Rookie this past month. The Union City Hillers first baseman shined through the month of August and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 20-year-old hit .349 with 4 home runs, 17 RBIs and 20 runs scored. To date, Barger has collected 105 hits for a .293 average. He has posted 14 home runs, scored 65 runs and driven in 51 runs. |
