Snowpeople Fain Gone for Year
Wednesday, August 10th, 2033
The season is finished for John Fain of the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Snowpeople starting pitcher suffered a fractured elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Athletic Club KC U-21. Team doctors said it would take at least 5 months to heal.

This year Fain has gone 3-2 with an ERA of 3.18 and has 28 strikeouts in 28.1 innings.
