PR's Best Player, Mortimer of San Diego Monday, August 1st, 2033 Cleveland Mortimer of the San Diego Clippers was locked in all week as he bullied the pitchers he faced. Mortimer put up some great numbers and hauled in the USPL Rookie Player of the Week trophy. He hit .417 with 4 home runs and 8 RBIs. The 20-year-old third baseman also scored 6 runs and for the week went 10-for-24. In the current season, Mortimer has put up a .350 batting average with 98 hits, 13 home runs, 54 runs batted in and scored 38 runs. |
