Eclipse Álvarez Named PAA's Best Pitcher Thursday, September 1st, 2033 In August, Alberto Álvarez tore through the USPL Double A like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 24 years old. The young Northville starter posted a 3-0 mark and an ERA of 2.09 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 38.2 innings he collected 29 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .206 average. This year Álvarez has posted a record of 5 wins and 4 losses with a 3.11 ERA. He has appeared in 22 games and struck out 53 in 63.2 innings. |
