Melchor Morse Out for Season Wednesday, August 3rd, 2033 A blow for Melchor Morse today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 10 months with a torn labrum. Morse suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Minnesota Loons are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Morse's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this year Morse has made 15 starts, tossed 89.1 innings, struck out 71 batters and walked 44. His record is 3-3 with a 3.63 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .220 batting average. |
