Cornu Wins SAA Player of the Week Prize Monday, July 4th, 2033 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USSL Double A, but last week Sébastien Cornu of the Lancaster Farmers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Cornu rocked opposing pitching for a .438 average (7-for-16), 4 home runs and 7 RBIs to come away with the award. Cornu is batting at a .312 pace this season, picking up 50 hits in 160 at-bats with 19 home runs, 51 RBIs and 34 runs scored. |
