Tacoma Shortstop Nets SAA Award Monday, August 8th, 2033 Júlio Rodríguez has been in a real groove lately. The 25-year-old Tacoma Fur Traders shortstop nabbed USSL Double A Player of the Week honors today after beating up on opposing pitchers all last week. Rodríguez's hot streak featured 5 hits in 12 at-bats, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs, 5 runs scored and a .417 average. This season Rodríguez is swinging the bat at a .257 rate with 69 hits in 268 at-bats. To date he has hit 24 home runs, scored 46 runs and driven in 60. |
