3AA #1 Pitcher in June is Irving's Lai Friday, July 1st, 2033 Irving's Cheung Lai hated to see June end. It was one of the single greatest months the reliever has posted, and the 23-year-old reliever did so well that he garnered enough votes for the M3L Double A Pitcher of the Month trophy. Lai held the opposition to a .250 batting average in 10 relief appearances. He worked 10 innings, collected 5 saves, sat down 10 on strikes and posted a 2-0 record and a 0.90 ERA. Lai has collected 10 saves for the year with 18 strikeouts and 3 walks in 18 innings while registering a 0.50 ERA and a 3-0 won-lost record. |
