Santiago Nabs 3AA Weekly Award Monday, August 29th, 2033 At the age of 28, Alejandro Santiago might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Ft. Polk South first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .615 batting average. For his efforts Santiago collected the M3L Double A Player of the Week Award. He racked up 8 hits in 13 at-bats, 1 home run and 2 RBIs last week in 3 games. This year Santiago has hit at a .283 clip with 60 RBIs, 17 home runs and 65 runs scored. |
