Player of the Week Honor to San Antonio Pitcher Monday, August 22nd, 2033 Youth was served last week as 24-year-old Israel Zorita put together a remarkable stretch on the mound, outpacing all other M3L Double A pitchers and hitters to win Player of the Week honors. The San Antonio BC hurler rang up 17 strikeouts in 18 innings, compiling an ERA of 0.00 and posting a fine 2-0 mark. Zorita has a 8-7 season record so far. In 19 starts, he has fanned 112 batters in 131.2 innings with a 3.21 ERA. |
