3AA Selects Fernández July's Best Pitcher Monday, August 1st, 2033 "The kid had it all working last month," a veteran teammate told reporters. "He keeps up those kind of numbers, we might have to start inviting him out with us after the games." António Fernández put together a very solid month to take home the M3L Double A's top pitching honor in July. The 23-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 7 relief appearances he raked in no saves and 17 strikeouts in 15 innings as he put together his 5-0 record and 1.20 ERA. This season Fernández has logged no saves. He has thrown 42.1 innings, dished out 26 strikeouts and walked 20 while putting up a 6-2 mark and a 5.53 ERA. |
