Hirschovits Earns 3AA Player of the Week Monday, July 18th, 2033 26-year-old Jouo Hirschovits made a few San Bernardino headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 23 at-bats to put up a .435 average. Hirschovits collected 1 home run, 8 RBIs and scored 4 runs. For the season, Hirschovits is hitting at a .284 clip with 5 home runs, 30 RBIs and has scored 26 runs. He has 42 hits, 22 walks and a .377 on-base percentage. |
