Ottawa No Match for Rigsby Sunday, July 17th, 2033 Irving Blue Sox fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as John Rigsby blanked the Ottawa Nationals, 9-0 at Nationals Park today. Rigsby stopped them on 2 hits while walking 4 and striking out 6. "Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Blue Sox skipper Bill Clark said. "He was on top of his game in this one." So far this year Rigsby has made 15 starts, tossed 95.1 innings, struck out 70 batters and walked 45. His record is 5-7 with a 5.38 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .306 batting average.
