Coral Reefers Come up Short of Playoffs Friday, September 16th, 2033 The Key West Coral Reefers were mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. Tony Walsh of the Coral Reefers said it's a tough way to finish out the season. "To be eliminated from playoff contention in the last few games, it's not easy," he said. The Coral Reefers have missed the playoffs 16 times in their 18 years as a USSL Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 9th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2024. In the last 10 seasons, the Coral Reefers have missed the playoffs 9 times. Key West has won the SL AAA Championship 2 times in their history. |
