Silander and Shepard Brawl, League Suspends Them Wednesday, August 24th, 2033 After an intense confrontation, both the ParksNRec Chad Silander and the Doubledays Bob Shepard were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Pawnee-Tremont game. Both players will miss 3 games as a result of their actions. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Chad Silander commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Silander is hitting .270 this year with 6 home runs and 43 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .398, 57 walks and scored 44 times. |
