Altuve Slaps 5 Hits Thursday, August 18th, 2033 Men shortstop Mesa Altuve had his way with Pennsauken pitching today at Pennsauken Park and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Flyers ruined his great day by toppling the Men, 13-6. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Pennsauken credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Altuve did today," Flyers skipper Juan Rodríguez said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Mesa Altuve singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.
