Davletyarov Hits in 20 Straight Games

Lopahin Davletyarov extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games today in the Phoenix 4-1 triumph over the Scranton Supernovas. The 22-year-old Hotspur Reserves shortstop collected 1 hit in 3 at-bats.
"Of course it's going to end," he said. "I'm just enjoying it until then." Lopahin Davletyarov flied out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
In 24 games Davletyarov is hitting .347 this season with 34 hits, 1 home run, 10 RBIs, 8 walks, .413 OBP and has scored 15 runs.
