Longnecks Out of Playoff Race Sunday, September 4th, 2033 Whether or not the Bloomington Longnecks would have been dangerous in the playoffs is now irrelevant. The team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. The Longnecks have missed the playoffs 14 times in their 18 years as a USPL Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2031. In the last 10 seasons, the Longnecks have missed the playoffs 6 times. Bloomington last won the PL AAA Championship in 2031. |
