PAAA Pitcher of the Month Goes to Gago Monday, August 1st, 2033 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Nésto Gago, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Bakersfield Nobles reliever, 26, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .208 average and walked away with the USPL Triple A Pitcher of the Month award for July. Gago posted a 4-0 mark and a 2.14 ERA in 10 relief appearances. In 21 innings, he had 1 save, 12 strikeouts, and 7 walks.
