Balun No-Hits Tritons Saturday, July 16th, 2033 It was the game that pitchers dream about: the no-hitter. It happened today at Jersey City Grounds. Kelemeneke Balun of the Baltimore Black Sox was right on target against the Jersey City Tritons in a 4-0 victory. Balun zeroed in on them, holding them hitless with 3 strikeouts and 2 walks. "I just had it all today," Balun told BNN reporters after the game. "Very good stuff and great location. That is a combination that's hard to beat." So far this year Balun has made 13 starts, tossed 90.1 innings, struck out 52 batters and walked 27. His record is 6-6 with a 4.98 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .275 batting average.
