3AAA Player of the Week, Herrera of Houston Monday, July 4th, 2033 At the age of 34, Bernardo Herrera might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Houston second baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .500 batting average. For his efforts Herrera collected the M3L Triple A Player of the Week Award. He racked up 11 hits in 22 at-bats, no home runs and 7 RBIs last week in 4 games. This year Herrera has hit at a .322 clip with 12 RBIs, no home runs and 15 runs scored. |
