3AAA Pitcher of the Month Goes to Holling Friday, July 1st, 2033 Any time a rookie makes a splash on the scene, it's got to be great for his career potential. Just ask Corbin Holling, who put together a stellar month out of the pen. The Houston BC closer, 23, kept the opposition off balance all month as he held them to a .195 average and walked away with the M3L Triple A Pitcher of the Month award for June. Holling posted a 2-0 mark and a 0.00 ERA in 10 relief appearances. In 11 innings, he had 6 saves, 12 strikeouts, and 2 walks. This season Holling has notched 11 saves with 21 strikeouts and 8 walks in 21.1 innings while registering a 1.69 ERA and a 3-1 won-lost record. |
