Rehab Fails, Career Over For Red Pandas Díaz
Tuesday, November 22nd, 2033
It looks like the end of Carlos Díaz's career. He got the sad news today from his doctors that this last setback was more damaging than first reported. The 31-year-old Sioux Falls Red Pandas reliever was making some progress in his recovery from a torn rotator cuff, but then he reinjured it during a rehab workout. Díaz was told by his specialist that there was nothing more that could be done to save his career.

During his career Díaz has appeared in 131 games, logging 358.1 innings with 274 strikeouts. He has carved out a 3.32 ERA with 27 wins and 23 losses and posted 24 saves.
