Season Over for José Morales in Tortolita Wednesday, August 17th, 2033 José Morales has to call it a season. The Tortolita Drummers reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Sioux Falls Red Pandas and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Morales was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 11-12 months. To date this year Morales has won 1 and lost 1 with a 5.68 ERA, 2 saves and 15 strikeouts in 9 relief appearances. |
