López Rips Sioux Falls for 5 Hits Monday, August 8th, 2033 Halberds shortstop Jorge López had his way with Sioux Falls pitching today at The Bamboo Forest and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Red Pandas ruined his great day by toppling the Halberds, 5-4. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Sioux Falls credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what López did today," Red Pandas skipper António Molina said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Jorge López singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
