3AAA Player of the Week, Torres of Alaskan Monday, July 11th, 2033 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Triple A, but last week Jesús Torres of the Alaskan Humpbacks reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Torres rocked opposing pitching for a .667 average (10-for-15), no home runs and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Torres has hit at a .550 clip with 4 RBIs, no home runs and 2 runs scored. |
