Clifton Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Saturday, July 9th, 2033 Alloway's Mike Clifton accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. For the day, Clifton finished 4-for-5 with 4 runs batted in and 1 run scored and helped the Halberds knock off the Augusta Timber Hawks 5-2 at Timber Hawks Ballpark. "I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Clifton told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout." Mike Clifton hit a two-run double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Jong-yun Chong in the 9th.
