Kwak Is August's Best PA Hurler Thursday, September 1st, 2033 Last month's cream of the crop on the mound was Nam-shik Kwak of the Provo Mango. He captured the USPL Single A Pitcher of the Month award for his outstanding performance in August. Kwak started 5 games, threw 40.2 innings, yielded 29 hits and logged a 3-0 record. He put down 31 batters on strikes, walked 11 and compiled a 1.99 ERA. Opposing teams batted .199 against him. Up to now Kwak has compiled an ERA of 3.01 with a 11-6 mark over 20 starts. He has 109 strikeouts in 149.2 innings and has held opponents to a .242 batting average. |
