Mango Pacheco Gone for Year Wednesday, August 24th, 2033 The season is finished for Rizal Pacheco of the Provo Mango. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Mango reliever suffered bone chips in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Galesburg Guzzlers. Team doctors said it would take at least 5-6 months to heal. To date this year Pacheco has won 0 and lost 1 with a 9.00 ERA, 1 save and 10 strikeouts in 12 relief appearances. |
