Will McLeod Out for Season
Sunday, August 21st, 2033
A blow for Will McLeod today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 12-13 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. McLeod suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the South Beach Blaze are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about McLeod's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature.

So far this year McLeod has made 8 starts, tossed 77.2 innings, struck out 97 batters and walked 29. His record is 5-3 with a 2.67 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .203 batting average.
