Gudmundur Grabs SA Outstanding Pitcher Award Sunday, September 25th, 2033 When the call went out to the Kennesaw bullpen in 2033, Rikkarti Gudmundur proved equal to the task. Whether he was brought in to squelch a rally or just finish the game, Gudmundur gave his best at each opportunity. As a result, today the Jets reliever was named the latest USSL Single A Outstanding Pitcher Award winner. He made no relief appearances, logging 85 innings and no saves this season. He racked up 103 strikeouts, a 8-0 record and an ERA of 1.16. Mark Parker of the Nebraska Plainsmen finished second in voting, while Dennis Bly of the Kennesaw Jets finished third. |
