Generals Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Saturday, August 20th, 2033 There might have been some flickers of hopes of a playoff berth at some point during the season, but those flickers have been snuffed out. The Washington Generals were officially eliminated from playoff contention today. Washington last appeared in the postseason in 2031. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 11 times in their 13-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Generals have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
