Shultz Collects Player of the Week Award Monday, August 8th, 2033 The Connetquot Chiefs received word today that left fielder John Shultz was selected USSL Single A Player of the Week for his stellar performance in last week's games. Shultz took full advantage of all 18 plate appearances last week as he hit .471 with 8 hits, 2 home runs, 3 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Shultz is batting at a .293 pace this season, picking up 85 hits in 290 at-bats with 6 home runs, 31 RBIs and 48 runs scored. |
