Burger Selected 3A Player of the Week Monday, July 12th, 2032 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Single A, but last week Silvian Burger of the Belleville Bulls reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Burger rocked opposing pitching for a .500 average (7-for-14), 2 home runs and 5 RBIs to come away with the award. Burger is batting at a .217 pace this season, picking up 45 hits in 207 at-bats with 6 home runs, 34 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
