Bortenschlager Rips Bellevue for 5 Hits Thursday, August 25th, 2033 Cauldrons left fielder Max Bortenschlager had his way with Bellevue pitching today at Gators Ballpark and mauled them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Bruins ruined his great day by toppling the Cauldrons, 13-10. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Bellevue credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Bortenschlager did today," Bruins skipper said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Max Bortenschlager doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
