Grim Loses Magee for Year Wednesday, August 17th, 2033 The season is apparently over for Jerry Magee. The Grim Reapers medical staff informed the club that the closer will be out at least 9-10 months with a torn labrum. Magee was hurt in the game against Mt. Vernon while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This season Magee has notched 23 saves with 44 strikeouts and 15 walks in 42.1 innings while registering a 2.55 ERA and a 3-4 won-lost record. |
